Students who passed with PassFirst
Every review below is from a real student whose result slip we have sighted. No illustrative or placeholder reviews.

“Signed up, got my login straightaway, and just started practising. The questions are very close to the style of the actual paper, and the explanations are short and clear. Revising for RES 5 felt so much less stressful with a proper system behind it.”

“Really simple to use — I did my practice on my phone whenever I had pockets of time. Every question comes with an explanation, so I actually understood my mistakes instead of just memorizing answers. The weak-chapter tracking told me exactly what to revise before the real paper.”

“The interface is clean — no clutter, just questions, a timer and clear explanations. Simulation mode felt exactly like the real computer-based exam, so there were no surprises on the day itself. I walked in prepared instead of hoping for luck.”

M9 questions candidates ask
What is the M9 exam format?
100 multiple-choice questions over 2 hours, computer-based, with a pass mark of 70%. It is administered by the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI).
How much does the M9 exam cost?
S$130.80 per attempt (non-member, incl. GST), paid to SCI. There is no retake discount — every attempt costs the full fee.
What is the difference between M9 and M9A?
M9 covers life insurance fundamentals plus ILP basics; M9A is the dedicated ILP deep-dive — sub-funds, charges, switching and suitability. Advisers on the life-insurance path typically need both, which is why our Combo plan covers any two modules for S$75.
Are these actual M9 exam questions?
No. Every question is original and exam-style, aligned to the current SCI study text, with a full worked explanation of why the right answer is right and the wrong ones are wrong.
Can I prepare for M9 and M9A together?
Yes — that is the most common pairing. The Combo plan (any 2 modules, S$75, 3 months access) covers both papers, and both are in the free weekly class rotation.
